Hemp Oil for
Gout

You may find it difficult to accept the idea
that hemp oil is actually good for you, and not psychoactive
like
marijuana. THC is the
psychoactive ingredient in marijuana, and although this
substance is present in hemp oil the quantity is insignificant,
and you would be very disappointed if you were looking for a
high from hemp oil, it wouldn't happen. So why bother taking
hemp oil? Hemp oil is regarded my many as a superior food
source, it is not only the richest source of essential
fatty acids in the plant kingdom, it is the only plant that has
these EFAs in perfect balance for human requirements.
Hemp oil contains an ideal ratio of w3s:w6s
EFAs, the w3s are known as omega3s or Alpha-linolenic
Acid, and the w6s are known as Omega 6s or linoleic acid.
These are involved in energy production throughout the
body governing both vitality and mental health. They shorten
the recovery time from fatigue after strenous exercise, which
is of great importance to athletes. They increase the rate of
metabolic reactions, the end result of this process is fat
burn-off and loss of weight. They are growth enhancing, help
maintain chromosome stability and cell division, help buffer
excess acids as well as excess alkalines, and generally govern
life processes in the body.
The w6 or linoleic acid is the one with the
highest daily requirement, this being dependent on the level of
physical activity, stress and nutritional state. Those who are
overweight, who consume large amounts of saturated fats, or
olive oil may require even more linoleic acid added to their
diet. Apart from the balanced source of EFAs found in hemp
oil, unrefined sunflower and unrefined safflower are both
good sources of w6s, as are sesame seed oil and rice bran
oil.It is recommended that a combination of Omega 3 and Omega 6
should be part of a healthy diet, to overdo one creates a
deficiency in the other that's why hemp seed oil is the ideal
oil for it's perfectly balanced.
Flax oil is the richest
source of Omega 3, however long-term exclusive use of flax oil
can lead to a deficiency of Omega 6 and although Omega 3s
contribute to a soft supple skin, if over consumed it can have
the opposite effect producing symptoms like dry papery skin,
and joint pain. This effect is mentioned by Udo Erasmus in his
book Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill, he ended up with dry
papery skin after consuming exclusively Omega 3 for a period of
two years.Apart from it's effects if consumed exclusively, it
has a very positive effect on fatty deposits and cholesterol
dispersing them and for this reason it has a very
powerful effect on the fatty degeneration found in
cardiovascular disease, cancer and diabetes.
Hemp oil also contains GLA, gamma-linolenic
acid, which reduces the inflammatory response similar
to the effects of evening primrose oil .
Although it has been mentioned that an
imbalance in one EFA can cause an imbalance in the other, it's
very unlikely for the average saturated fat consumer to go
overboard with omega 3s and end up with papery skin, this
effect may occur in a vegetarian, particularly a vegan. The big
concern is the imbalance created by overconsumption of Omega 6,
and very little or no consumption of Omega3. This presents a
strong argument for the addition of hemp oil to the diet
Both the complete protein and the essential oils contained in
hempseeds are in ideal ratios for human nutrition. As you can
see, hemp seed products benefit all, not just gout
sufferers.
